SUMMARY:Learn CFO Skills: Financial Modeling Part 2
DESCRIPTION:Business owners struggle with business decisions that affect the financial health of the company. “Are we selling at the right price?” “Are we making money?” “Can we afford to hire someone?” Many times\, these decisions are made without a thorough understanding of the financial implications. This does not need to be the case. There are simple mathematical calculations that can be used to answer key business questions. Financial Models can be used to monitor sales\, overhead and profitability. They can be applied to any business\, independent of size and scope. \nThis session will teach you how to use a financial model for key decision-making. In the previous session (Part 1) we learned the purpose and importance of Managerial accounting. You viewed a simple financial model and learned how to properly gather data. In this session (Part 2) you will see a model created and analyzed using a sample company. \nThis webinar is taught by Lori Williams\, who has an extensive background in finance working as a CFO turnaround consultant\, banker and professor. She is known as the “guru of all numbers”. This webinar is NOT recorded. However\, it is presented monthly and can be repeated as desired.
