DESCRIPTION:The Retail Road to Recovery is an intensive 5-part class is designed to assist existing brick and mortar retailers\, restaurateurs\, and services in their recovery from the challenges created by the COVID19 shutdown and continually evolving regulations. \nWho Should Attend?\nBrick & Mortar establishments located in Long Beach will have priority. However\, any brick & mortar businesses in the surrounding areas are welcome if space permits. A wait- list will be created for applicants once our capacity of 35 is filled. Future classes may be held if the demand is high\nWhy Attend?\n\nRe-launching your business post-COVID will be a new adventure. Join us to learn NEW best practices from business advisors and cohort peers as we explore new ways of doing business.\nWhat Can I Expect?\n\n-An on-line cohort style learning environment of up to 35 participants.\n-5 interactive\, working classes that meet every week for 2 hours each.\n-Individual consulting sessions\, with an SBDC Advisor between classes\, to work on homework and specific issues.\n\n\nCurriculum: \nClass #1: Thursday\, July 23rd\, 2020 11am to 1:00pm\nUnderstanding key financial reports & ratios\n-Using your financial documents to recover your business\n-Create personalized key performance indicators (KPI’s)\, Mile Markers\, Success Indicators\, Measuring Sticks\nClass #2 Thursday\, July 30th\, 2020 – 11am to 1:00pm\nTaking your business on-line\n-Integrating an on-line marketplace\n-Using your analytics to make changes in your business\nClass #3: Thursday\, August 6th\, 2020 – 11am to 1:00pm\nSocial Media as a marketing and sales tool.
